The client required cleaning services for the corporate hospitality areas within the stadium including the corporate boxes, open plan areas and function rooms. The brief is made complex by certain architectural design features and the extremely high footfall particularly for concerts and on match days (the stadium capacity is 82,300 pax). The brief required the cleaning partner to bring sustainability initiatives to the table.

THE ISSUE

The client required cleaning services for the corporate hospitality areas within the stadium including the corporate boxes, open plan areas and function rooms. The brief is made complex by certain architectural design features and the extremely high footfall particularly for concerts and on match days (the stadium capacity is 82,300 pax). The brief required the cleaning partner to bring sustainability initiatives to the table.

We provide a year-round cleaning operation with differing schedules for match days, functions, concerts and events. Our partnership with the client symbolises what can be achieved when a cohesive team works towards a common goal or event. Our ability to respond flexibly to the cleaning requirements of the site depending on what events are taking place is a key factor in the relationship. Our flat management structure facilitates the flexibility that is needed to respond speedily should issues arise. 

On sustainability, we proposed a series of action plans on everything from sustainable cleaning practices to water use. We have placed a strong emphasis on green procurement, a process whereby we meet our needs for goods, services, works and utilities by choosing solutions that have a reduced impact on the environment throughout their lifecycle, as compared to alternative products or services. This approach was driven not only by the client’s emphasis on environmental responsibility, but also by the need to reduce costs and add value
